During our Fun Friday episode of the Donna and Molly Show on September 24, we were joined by football team sophomores Bingham Hightower,#9 also known to have many nick names of which we picked our favorite, “Bing-Stud”, Ricky Ahrberg, #87, known as “Sticky Ricky”, and Brett Helm, #21, known as “Feet”, all three play a key role in the bright future of the Cushing Tiger’s football squad. Both Ahrberg and Hightower have played football for years, however Brett Helm is new to the football scene as a kicker, coming from the sport of soccer, he’s someone the tigers count on for crucial plays. All three sophomores brought a high level of team spirit into Studio B that carried on to all our listeners. They talked of increased fan and pier support being important to the morale of the team and thanked everyone for their continued support of the team with their attendance during the season.
The second half of Tiger Time was hosted by Whitney Linder and Hosanna McCoy, both seniors at CHS. Both of these young ladies are currently playing on the high school softball team, have been selected as Athlete of The Week and are involved in various activities at school.

Russell was previously a councselor at both Deep Rock and Harmony elementary schools. Amy recieved her Bachelors degree from East Central in Ada, moving on to Oklahoma University, where she earned her Masters. Amy plans to stay a part of the tiger family until she retires.
Welcome Amy!
Cushing High School has a new Spanish teacher, Dena Dunkerson, although she is no stranger to the halls of CHS. Before teacahing at Edmond North High last year, she taught here as the spanish teacher for two years and is happy to be back. Teaching runs in Dena’s family, with her mom and grandmother both being teachers before her. She wasn’t always sure being a teacher was what she wanted to do, for a while, she thought of doing something in the medical field such as becoming a doctor or nurse – but that dream was short lived. Dunkerson discovered that she really didn’t like the thought of blood much …and it was then that she knew teaching was indeed her true calling. She has studied spanish for a total of twelve years.
Welcome back Dena!
