The daughter of the late Theodore Oldfield and Marie Martin Oldfield, Lois was born on December 23, 1933 in Stillwater, OK.
She was united in marriage to Jim Lewis on Sept. 10, 1950, and to this union two children, Jay and Jan were born. Jim preceded her in death on July 8, 2007.
Lois was an avid reader; she enjoyed doing cross word puzzles and was a collector of anything that had a butterfly theme to it.
Survivors include her children, Jay Lewis and his wife Vera of Aurora, CO, and Jan Lewis of Sand Springs, OK; one grand daughter Erin Lewis and her fiancé, Lucas Jeffrey, and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 10 A.M. in the Tryon Cemetery with Chaplain Nancy Brown, Chaplain with the Grace Living Center, officiating.
