David Eugene Mason, retired Army Veteran and truck driver, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years.

The son of the late Sidney Eugene Mason and Mattie Maurine Nelson Mason, David was born on March 5, 1954 in Millington, Tennessee where was raised and educated.

David enlisted in the United States Army following high school and spent 20 years serving his country before retiring. Following his retirement, he worked as an overland truck driver.

He was united in marriage on August 23, 2006 to Sherry Cramer Andrews in Jamaica. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his grandkids, especially teaching them how to fish.

Survivors include his wife Sherry Mason of the home; one daughter Melissa Ann Mason of Tennessee; two step-sons, Brian Andrews and Brad Andrews; two sisters, Hilda and Martha; one brother Calvin; five grandchildren, Brett Andrews, Quincy Frenchman, Alexis Andrews, Abby Andrews and Brayden Andrews, and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter Kristina Mason, one sister Bertha Smith and one brother Larry Mason.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Clouse officiating.

Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery at Oilton, Oklahoma.

Full military services will be conducted at the Cemetery.
