(Cushing, Okla.) — We are proud to announce our 2018-19 Teacher of the Year is Belinda Flynn. Mrs. Flynn has been with Cushing Public Schools for 15 years teaching 6th-12th grade vocal music. She is active in numerous organizations including the Oklahoma Choral Director’s Association, Oklahoma Music Educator’s Association, and the East Central Oklahoma Choir Director’s Association.
Mrs. Flynn and her choirs have won numerous group and individual awards over the years. We are proud to have her at Cushing Public Schools and will be honored to have her represent us in the Oklahoma Teacher of the Year competition. Mrs. Flynn and all of the other finalists for the Teacher of the Year award will be honored at our Teacher Appreciation Dinner on May 9th.
