(Stillwater, Okla.) — A Yale woman who was on probation for possessing methamphetamine in 2005 and marijuana in 2007 in Cushing has been given a five-year prison term for selling pseudoephedrine with the knowledge that it would be used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine in Stillwater in March of 2009.
Mandi Lynn Rossiter, 28, who previously lived in Cushing, must also pay $150 for a state crime bureau laboratory fee and serve two years of probation when she is released from prison, under a plea bargain approved in Payne County District Court Friday.
Rossiter also pleaded guilty Friday to purchasing more than the allowable amount of pseudoephedrine within a 30-day period from various pharmacies in Stillwater between February and March of 2009, for which she was given a $500 fine.
She was given a concurrent five-year prison term Friday for passing a forged check for $65 on a Drumright man’s bank account to a Yale convenience store in May of 2009.
After sending her to prison Friday, Payne County Associate District Judge Stephen Kistler said in court, “Ms. Rossiter, I wish you well.”
