(Cushing, Okla.) Heather Taylor has thrown her hat into the ring for the chance to become the Cushing PRCA Rodeo Queen for 2011. Heather, a 16 year old junior at Yale High School, currently holds the title of Yale Rodeo Queen.
Heather is the proud daughter of Jim Taylor and in her spare time she enjoys shopping, spending time with friends and family – and her horses. Heather barrel races and is active in her local FFA by showing beef cattle, pigs, market boilers, Boer goats and bantam chickens. She is the 2011 Yale FFA chapter reporter and recently received Chapter Star Farmer, as well as the 2011 diversified livestock production award. She also enjoys attending FFA conventions and rodeos and meeting new people.
