(Stillwater, Okla.) — Arrest warrants have been issued for an ex-convict from Yale accused of burglarizing Mugsy’s restaurant in Yale on Jan. 5 and a woman’s property in Yale on Feb. 14, court records show.

Jarred Wayne Stubblefield, 39, who was listed as homeless on the felony charges filed last week in Payne County, had been released from prison about two years ago, state Department of Corrections records show.

According to court records, Stubblefield was living in Cushing in 2010 when he was charged with felony domestic violence in the presence of children at his ex-girlfriend’s apartment where he arrived uninvited five days before Christmas, an affidavit said.

During an argument, Stubblefield’s ex-girlfriend said he “pushed her down in a chair positioned near the door, elbowed her in the chest, and poked her in the right cheek several times with his finger,” in the presence of her children, age six months and one year, a police affidavit said.

Stubblefield’s ex-girlfriend said he came to her home again the next day, but she would not let him in, the affidavit said. She said he called her a name, “told her he had paid someone to physically assault her, and threatened to make sure (her) children were taken from her,” the affidavit said.

At the time, Stubblefield’s ex-girlfriend had an emergency protective order against him that had been served on him six days earlier, the affidavit said. Stubblefield had been convicted the previous year of assault and battery of the same woman as a misdemeanor, the affidavit said.

For his felony attack on the woman on Dec. 20, 2010, to which he pleaded guilty on Feb. 25, 2011, Stubblefield was given a five-year prison term and told if he successfully completed the Bill Johnson Drug Offender Work Camp, the balance of his sentence would be suspended, court records show.

According to the state Department of Corrections, Stubblefield had also been convicted in Payne County of:

* possession of a precursor with intent to manufacture a drug in Stillwater in 2009, for which he was placed on probation in 2010, that was revoked on Feb. 25, 2011, to a concurrent 10-year prison term of which he served almost six years;

* possession of stolen vehicle in 2001, for which he was given a six-year prison term of which he served about five years.

According to DOC, Stubblefield had also been convicted in Haskell County of:
