(Cushing)– Residents of north central Oklahoma finished the month of January with a winter storm that left 3-4 inches of snow across the area. Despite the heavy snow, ground temperatures were warm enough to keep roadways from becoming snow covered, but patches of ice did remain on roads. No school closing were reported in the area, an no other cancellations were noted. Temperatures on Friday were expected to reach the mid-40’s so the snow is not expected to remain for long.
