Wilma Garrison Pollard, 60, of Cushing, OK, died in her home on Thursday, December 31, 2009.

Funeral services have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing and will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 4, 2010 in the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing, OK.

She was born on August 3, 1949 in Pasadena, TX to William Garrison and Evelyn (Tucker) Garrison.

Wilma was reared and educated in Drumright, OK, graduating from Drumright High School.  She had worked as an R.N. in home health care in Georgia before moving back to Oklahoma in 2004.  In her spare time she loved to cook, sew and especially shop.  Wilma also loved to travel, her favorite places were the beach and the mountains.

Wilma was preceded in death by one daughter, Rachael Pelley; one sister, Scottie Garrison and her parents, William and Evelyn Garrison.

She is survived by two children, Elise White and her husband James of Cushing, OK and Matt Pelley of Omaha, NE; four grandchildren, Matt, Jesse, and Savannah White all of Cushing, OK and Mikaela Pelley of Omaha, NE; and one great-granddaughter, Zoie White of Cushing, OK; one brother, Bill Garrison and his wife Barbara of Mannford, OK; and many aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
