Wilma Dean Allen, former Cushing resident, died on Friday, August 8, 2014 in Albert Lea, Minnesota at the age of 87 years.
Wilma was born on February 16, 1927 in Healdton, Oklahoma to Truman and Johnny Morris. She was united in marriage to George “Jeep” Allen on September 28, 1945 in Pawnee. The couple lived in Cushing until July 2001 when they moved to Albert Lea, Minnesota. Jeep preceded her in death on January 24, 2003.
She was a charter member of the Oak Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Ken Allen and his wife, Judy, of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter, Cheryl William and her husband, Roger, of Albert Lea, Minnesota; one brother, Lyle Morris of Cushing; one grandchild, Jarae Housley of Seattle, Washington and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Wilma was preceded in death by one brother, Hershell Morris.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014, in the Euchee Valley Memorial Park Cemetery with Brother Bob Cummins officiating.
