Farmers Market & Mercantile – in Cleveland is open every Saturday morning from 8 am until 12 pm, October (2016). The market is located at Pawnee and Broadway near the stop light.

 

Fireworks – at First Baptist Church synchronized to music at dark on July 3rd (2106). No alcohol please!

 

Voices of Freedom – is scheduled to take place at 6 pm at the Cleveland High School on July 5th (2016). Food trucks and more! Fireworks at dusk! Sponsored by the City of Cleveland, and the Cleveland Chamber.

 

Cushing, Oklahoma

 

Aquatic Center – is open from 1 pm until 5:45 pm, Monday through Sunday. Twilight swimming is available on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm. Cost for ages 7 or older just $2, children 6 years of age and under $1.25.

Regular cost for adults is just $3.75 and children 6 and under just $2.50. Punch passes may also be purchased. Adults run $60 and children are just $40. For rules and regulations, additional options, or booking a party call 918-223-2918. Check with the Aquatic Center about Holiday Hours!

 

Special Veterans Presentation – July 4th @ 8:30 a.m., Walmart in Cushing

 

July 4th Blowout – this year’s celebration kicks off with a parade on Broadway at 10 am, followed by activities in Memorial Park and a Car Show that begins at noon. In the afternoon some of the activities include a Dunk Tank, Watermelon Eating Contest, a Hotdog Eating Contest, 3 Legged Race, Sponge Launch, Street Dancing and Live Music throughout the afternoon from 1 pm until it’s time for the Fireworks Show which will last about 25 minutes.

(The Cushing Industrial Authority along with a small group of investors will be paying for this year’s fireworks.)

 

Drumright, Oklahoma
