Shop Local Initiative – is going on with Chamber Charlie, the Elf on the Shelf, from now until the week before Christmas, December 17th (2018).
Chamber Charlie will visit a business for 1 week and the Chamber will use its Facebook page, to post a picture of Chamber Charlie in that business giving clues everyday as to where his location is for the week. The Public is encouraged to find Chamber Charlie.
Once someone finds him, they simply Private Message the selfie to the Cushing Chamber Facebook page, or stop by the Chamber office and show it to Chamber staff. EVERYONE who finds him will be entered into a drawing which will occur at the end of each week. One winner each week will be drawn to win either a gift basket and/or gift card from the participating Chamber Member business, or from a Sponsor business. The Chamber will do a Facebook Live Video at the business, giving the business time at the beginning of the live video to talk about their business, and then they will also do the drawing.

Garden of Lights – in Muskogee features a holiday display in Honor Heights Park starting at 5:30 pm each day until January 1st, 2019. This is a drive-through event, featuring holiday lights in a peaceful natural setting. The entrance to the park is on Honor Heights Park Drive, just north of the VA Hospital and Five Civilized Tribe Museum.
