Sales, sales, and more sales! It seemed that every neighborhood block played host to at least one garage sale over the weekend. Cheyenne Smith, her cousin Kenneth Crook and good friend Jayce Haynes, took advantage of the opportunities abound by making some extra cash during this weekend’s bonanza of garage sales in Cushing. These three young Cushing residents were selling Koolaide in hopes of raising enough money for a four wheeler and a motorcycle.
Bargains could be found all over town, and a lot of folks cleared out much needed space in their homes and garages by participating in this year’s garage sale event. One man’s trash is, of course… another man’s treasure!
