Wanda Joyce (Hammock) Schad, age 60 of Cushing, left this world on Christmas Eve to spend Christmas with those she had missed for too long. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m, Monday, December 29, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Drumright, Ok. Pastor Roger White will officiate. Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Ok.
Wanda was born on March 2, 1954 in Zumbrota, Minnesota, the daughter of RG Hammock and Pauline (Cooper) Hammock. She took with her an infectious smile, a booming laugh, and her willingness to help others in their time of need. She leaves behind a love of nature, a love of daytime TV, and a love of talking with family.Spouse—Gene Hebard of the home, Daughter- Jennifer Fischer and husband Jake Fischer of Justin, TX., brothers- Ronnie and wife Linda Hammock, Donnie and Judy Hammock, Danny and Sherry Hammock, and Randy Hammock, sisters- Janice Decker husband Bob, Marilyn Flatt, Rita Baugh and husband Alan, best friend- Kristen Stallworth, grandchildren- Jessica Fischer and Piper Schad. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, sister Linda, husband Greg Schad, son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Jennifer Schad.
