It’s a day to remember… It’s a day to honor… It’s Veteran’s Day – Nov. 11th.
Ceremonies will be held to honor our military on Wednesday starting at 9 a.m. at City Hall.
American Legion Post 108 will hold a ceremony at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11th at City Hall and again at 10 a.m. at Fairlawn-New Zion Cemetery located north of Cushing on Highway 18. Black Hawks are scheduled for a fly-over – weather permitting. At 11 a.m. the VFW will hold a ceremony at Euchee Valley Cemetery located east of the city. Representative Lee Denney will speak at all three ceremonies.
A luncheon will be held at the VFW following the ceremonies. All veterans are welcome to attend.
