Cushing – This morning, Cushing police officer Matthew Piatt closed his investigation into the recent vandalism at Quality Ford, 2300 E. Main Street. The vandalism was suspected of happening over the weekend. Police have identified and received confessions from two Cushing juveniles who have admitted committing the crime, which included vandalism to the parking lot surface, vehicles and windows on a vacant building adjacent to the dealership.

Chief Terry Brannon said, “I appreciate the excellent investigative work by Officer Matthew Piatt. This was another case in which citizen involvement played an essential role. It takes courage to get involved in helping police solve crimes. Without the public, it can sometimes be a daunting task in terms of solving crimes like this one.”
