(Cushing, Okla.) Don Amon, teacher at Cushing High School, is hoping “third time’s the charm” as he threw his hat into the ring for Seat No. 5 of the Cushing Board of Commissioners. Amon first ran for Seat No. 3 in 2004 and again for Seat No. 5 in 2008.
Amon will be running against incumbent Jim Hogrefe who has served on the Cushing Board of Commissioners since 2008.
Filings closed Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014.
The election will be held on April 1, 2014.
