(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety.
An injury collision occurred at approximately 4:53 (am) on State Highway 18 about .2 miles South of CR6300, approximately .2 miles South of Fairfax, OK.
Tristan Rogers (20) of Fairfax was driving a 1999 Dodge northbound on State Highway 18 when the Dodge failed to negotiate a curve to the left and exited the roadway. Rogers then overcorrected causing the Dodge to enter into a broad slide and collide with a tree and utility pole, rolling 1 time. He was pinned for 30 minutes before being freed by the Fairfax Fire Department using the Hurst tool.
Rogers was then transported by Fairfax ambulance to the Fairfax Hospital and then by air ambulance service to St. Francis Hospital (Tulsa). He was admitted at St. Francis in serious condition with multiple injuries. Seth Lookout (20) a passenger from Bartlesville, was also transported by the Fairfax ambulance to the Fairfax Hospital where he received treatment for his injuries and was released.
The Department of Public Safety report shows that the drivers condition had an odor of alcohol and that the cause of collision may be due to other improper act or movement.
