(Cushing, Okla) A 19 year old female, Larkin Gray from Ripley, Oklahoma, was killed in a traffic accident that took place yesterday (Sunday, May 4) in the afternoon at 15:40 on Highway 177, just south of 68th about 50 yards “or” so.
The vehicles involved in the accident were a 2007 Dodge pickup truck driven by Matthew G. Loveless (25) of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and a 2010 Toyota Scion driven by Lisa Breshears (54) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Lisa was transported by LifeNet to Stillwater Medical Center and was treated and released with trunk and internal injuries. Ben Breshears (26) of Stillwater, Oklahoma, a passenger in Breshears car, was airlifted to Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, and was treated and released with minor injuries. (Larkin Gray was a passenger in Breshears car.)
According to OHP reports, the truck Loveless was driving was south bound on US 177 while the Scion Breshears was driving was south bound on US 177 and was attempting to turn left into a private drive. Loveless’s vehicle failed to observe Breshears intentions and ran into the rear of the vehicle Breshears was driving.
The drivers condition and the cause of the accident are still under investigation.
