PAINT THE TOWN PURPLE WEEK is an endeavor to heighten the awareness
of our citizens to the importance of joining American Cancer Society Relay For Life as they strive to
promote awareness about cancer at the annual Relay For Life of Cushing.
The Relay For Life is a community affair held which represents an opportunity to network with business associates, family and friends to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost to the disease and fight back to help find a cure!
More than 400 people a day in the U.S. are celebrating birthdays that would have otherwise been lost to cancer;

April 26th 32 mile walk to remember
Please join us as we make the 32 mile journey from Mannford to Cushing in honor of those currently fighting their battle with cancer and in memory of those we have lost to cancer. If you are unable to join us, but would like to contribute and sponsor the walkers, you may make a donation by clicking the link. You can …donate so much per mile or a certain amount. EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS! https://main.acsevents.org/site/TR/?team_id=1518778&pg=team&fr_id=60689
This is a very humbling and emotional experience for me personally and we will continue to do this until we find a cure. 32 miles is nothing compared to what cancer patients and caregivers go through every day. Please help support us in this endeavor and let’s beat CANCER!
April 26th Elementary Elements will be selling hot dogs outside of Atwood’s.
