On March 12, 2015 at approximately 3:45 p.m. Trooper Gary Sanders #713 was inside his patrol car conducting a traffic stop on US 183, 1 mile north of Davidson when his vehicle was struck from behind. Trooper Sanders is currently listed in stable condition in a Fort Worth, Texas hospital.
Trooper Sanders is assigned to the Tillman County Detachment of Troop M.
