(Stillwater, Okla.) According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol – last night at approximately 8:03 (pm) a traffic accident occurred that involved five cars and one pedestrian. The accident happened on the Cimarron Turnpike at mile marker 51.5 west bound (2.5 miles east of State Highway 99 the Hallett Exit) in Pawnee County.

A 2003 Peterbilt driven by Dale Hughes (44) of Checotah, Oklahoma was west bound on US 412, when a 2011 White Ford Truck that was driven by David Glen Willier (46) of Newton, Kansas struck the Peterbilt in the rear and became disabled in the roadway. A 2000 Honda driven by Doris Williams (81) of Stillwater, Oklahoma struck the 2011 Ford Truck that was driven by Willier in the rear, becoming disabled in the roadway. Then a 2007 Chevy Truck driven by Jesse Ferrell (18) of Comanche, Oklahoma struck Williams car (the 2000 Honda) in the rear right, before departing the roadway on the left, and hitting cable barriers. Williams 2000 Honda departed the roadway to the right hitting a 2012 Chevy SUV that was legally parked on the shoulder.

Pedestrian Dale Hughes was hit by flying debris from the crash involving Willier’s 2011 Ford Truck and Williams 2000 Honda. Williams was partially ejected through the back window.

OHP reports – Hughes refused to get treatment for injuries to his left foot. Willier was transported to St Johns (Tulsa) where he was admitted in stable condition and Williams died at the scene from injuries she had received.

Some of the seat-belts were in use.
