(Perkins) — Cushing went into the consolation semi-final game against Berryhill coming off their worst loss of the season, but shook it off to send Berryhill home for the year. Cushing took the lead in the first quarter, and never trailed again in a rout of Berryhill.

Nick Edwards scored a career high 28 points to lead Cushing to a 64-46 win over the Chiefs, and advance to the consolation finals against Glenpool Saturday at 3:00.

Philip Wilson, who suffered an eye injury in the game against Douglass, was back in the lineup, and scored 7 points. Jordan Bush added 20 for the Tigers.

A win over Glenpool would put the Tigers in the Area Tournament at Stillwater next week.
