Each week co-hosts Donna and Molly have the pleasure of getting to know a couple of CHS students.  This week seniors  Baleigh Seymore and Katie Kinser were in Studio B.

Both girls had visited the show before and seemed quite comfortable in front of the microphone.  They both work on the school newspaper (Eye of the Tiger) as well as yearbook and are looking forward to continuing their education after graduation this year.

Here’s a little bit of the school news they shared with listeners.

Tyler Farley has been named the Rotarian Student of the Month for March.  Tyler will give weekly reports at Rotary club meetings held Thursday at noon at the Steer Inn.

Baseball season has begun.  CHS played in Meeker on Friday and had a home game schedule against Bristow on Monday.

Congratulations went to the 2010 wrestling state placers: Jarred Bass, 4th place, Kyle Knight and Josh Myers, 2nd place and Ty Fittje and Garrett Evans who placed 1st!

CHS Special Olympics received two cash donations – $250 from the Cushing Fire Department and $150 from Cushing Lumber Company.  NAPA also donated a ton of paper to be recycled with proceeds also going to the CHS Special Olympics.

Last but not least – Choir went to competition and earned a two in stage and three for sight reading.

Tune in to the Donna and Molly Show each Friday morning at 8:15 for Tiger Time.
