This week’s Tiger Time guest on the Donna and Molly Show was CHS senior Sarah Warrior.
Sarah was an absolute delight as she shared a little personal information as well as news from the high school.
Foremost, Sarah seems excited about her future plans. She is preparing to attend Colorado School of Mines (CSM) in Golden, CO. “I recently visited it,” she said, “and it’s beautiful there!” According to Wikipedia, CSM is “a public teaching and research university devoted to engineering and applied science, with special expertise in the development and stewardship of the Earth’s natural resources.”
Cushing High School news included updates on the basketball and wrestling finals. Sarah also talked about a new Book Club at CHS. The first meeting will be March 23 in the CHS library. The first book featured in the club: Paper Towns by John Green. The first meeting is to receive the book and a briefing on future meetings, with a follow meeting on March 30th.
CHS chorus and band students continue to perform brilliantly at such contests as 4A District Choir Contest at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa and District Solo and Ensemble Contest at Edmond Santa Fe High School.
Once again, time was too short to list all the things going on at Cushing High School. Our thanks to Sarah for joining us on the Donna and Molly Show.
Tune in to 1600 KUSH AM radio each Friday morning at 8 a.m. for Tiger Time on the Donna and Molly Show. The Donna and Molly Show airs weekday morning from 7 – 10 a.m.
