The girls were a lot of fun as they informed listeners about what was going on in school this week.  First on the list – Senior night and final home game for the Tigers football team.  Seniors Tyler Farley, Garret Evans, Tim McCool, Brett Aicher, Paul Carpenter and D.J. McKinney had just been in the hot seat on the Donna and Molly Show – encouraging football fans to come out and support them at their final home game.   (Unfortunately the Tigers lost to Seminole – virtually illuminating them from any dream of a play off).
Shawnae and Chandler continued the team spirit and reminded folks to come enjoy a chili dinner at the field house prior to the game.  “The chili is just $5 and the money goes to the golf team,” Shawnae said.

Other school news:
Tiger pride t-shirts are on sale now!  Shirts are $12, short-sleeved and black.  The design can be viewed on the Cushing High School website (click ad on top of this page to go to the CHS website).  Anyone wanting to purchase a t-shirt can contact Mrs. Hendrson-Smith or any student council member.

Student Council is sponosoring a can food competition between classes.  The food drive will be Nov. 16th – Nov. 20th.   “Save your money,” teased Chandler, “and raid your parents’ pantries now!”

Friday was the final day for the “trick or treat others” fundraiser.  The winning class will receive a Pizza Party!

Picture Retakes are Wednesday, Nov. 4th.

Thanks girls for the information and of course the pleasure of getting to know our students just a little bit better!
