(Cushing, Okla.) The Varsity Tigers and Lady Tigers will take on the Mannford Pirates and Lady Pirates at the CHS Fieldhouse tonight.
Tip-off for the Lady Tigers will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the Varsity Tigers following.
This will also be the kickoff for Relay For Life by celebrating Coaches vs. Cancer. The Coaches vs. Cancer program empowers coaches, their teams, and communities to join the fight against cancer by participating in awareness efforts, advocacy programs, and fundraising activities. Guided by the Coaches vs. Cancer Council, participating coaches help people with cancer today and to find cures to end the disease tomorrow, and have raised more than $87 million to help the American Cancer Society’s mission.
Donation buckets will be passed around and all proceeds will be donated to our local Relay For Life organization. The Cushing High School earns credit for funds raised as part of the Coaches vs. Cancer program.
Tables regarding information about Relay For Life will be set up throughout the evening.
We encourage everyone to attend the games and show your support throughout the basketball season but if for some reason you cannot make it to the game, KUSH will again be bringing the Cushing Tiger games LIVE via radio, audio and video stream. We will also be bringing the home Drumright games via video stream.
