(Stillwater, Okla.) — Three felony counts of indecent exposure were dropped by the prosecution Friday against a Stillwater man, who then pleaded guilty to a single misdemeanor count of outraging public decency on June 10, 2017, in Stillwater.
William Fischer Hopper, 27, was placed on two years’ probation Friday by District Judge Phillip Corley with an order to pay a $250 fine, court records show.
If Hopper had been convicted of two counts of indecent exposure in 2017 and one count of indecent exposure in 2018, he could have been given as much a 30-year prison term and a $60,000 fine, court records show.
Since Hopper was given a deferred sentence, he will not have a criminal record if he successfully completes his probationary period..
