After days and days of rain, Relay for Life coordinators played the odds and moved this year’s event indoors…just in case.

Relay for Life was held at the CHS Fieldhouse.  Team members transformed the gym into a luau setting prior to the 7 p.m. start.  Survivors were “at the top” – not only in everyone’s hearts and minds – but as they made their survivor lap on the top level of the gym.  Later, luminaries were placed around the top honoring those who have survived cancer as well as those who have lost their battle against the disease.

From 7 p.m. Friday evening until 7 a.m. Saturday morning, someone was walking for the fight against cancer.  All proceeds raised for Relay for Life will go to the American Cancer Society.
