Thomas Kye Thompson, age 31 of Haywood, Oklahoma formerly of Yale/Stillwater area, died on Monday May 12, 2008 in Sallisaw, OK. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday at the First Baptist Church, Yale. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Gardens, Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Thomas Kye was born on March 9, 1977 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Rocky L. and Linda (Hanson) Thompson. He grew up in the Yale and Stillwater area, attending Yale Elementary and later school in Stillwater. Thomas enjoyed his solitude and being outdoors. He liked picking on his guitar and talking politics. Thomas loved his family and playing with his nieces and nephews. He moved to Haywood, Oklahoma to be near his mother. He was a very talented Tattoo Artist.
Thomas is survived by his mother Linda Hurst and husband Jim of Haywood, Ok, his father Rocky L. Thompson of Yale, his brothers Bill Thompson and wife Brandi of Cushing, Scott Thompson of McAlester and Hannah Thompson of Oklahoma City, maternal step grandfather Richard Dean of McAlester, paternal grandparents Carlos and Tommye Thompson of Yale, three Aunts and two Uncles, seven nieces and nephews Marriah, Brysen, Brody, Scotty, Flower, Shaylie and Dewey.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Leona Dean and paternal grandfather William Gary Hanson.
