(Cushing, Okla) — A variety of artwork by area artists will be on display at the 18th Biennial Cushing Community Art Show at the Lachenmeyer Arts Center. The show opened on Thursday, August 29th and will run through Friday, September 13th. The public is invited to see the exhibit and attend a closing reception on Friday, September 13th, 5:00 – 7:00 pm.

The Biennial Art Show is a display of jewelry, paintings, photographs, clay, basketwork, prints, drawings & watercolors created by area artists. This show takes place during September of every even numbered year to recognize artistic talent in the Cushing area.

The 15 artists participating this year include Carol Bear, Larry Crumbliss, Linda Crumbliss, Pat Keadle Gougler. Betty Hancock, M.J. HendersonSmith, Earnestine Hodo, Sara Landis, Nell Maxwell, Lizabeth Mitchell, Emma Page, Rob Smith, Randy Watkins, Linda Wells & Linda Westerman.

The 18th Biennial Cushing Community Art Show will run through September 13th. Hours at the Lachenmeyer Arts Center are 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday & Thursday. For more information, please call Rob Smith at 918-225-7525.
