(Stillwater, Okla.) — A 34-year-old Stillwater man accused of indecent exposure to a female co-worker in the ABM office at the OSU Physical Plant while he was a supervisor has been ordered to appear in court on June 7 when he can seek a preliminary hearing on the felony charge.

Mark Brian Morales admitted that he was terminated from ABM “because he had pictures of his penis on his work phone,” OSU Police Officer Shawn Gibson alleged in an affidavit filed this month.

An ABM workplace investigations manager said, “there were inappropriate photos of Mark’s genitals,” as well as “text that proved Mark was having a relationship with an employee who was subordinate to him as well,” the affidavit alleged. She said, “Mark was terminated for violating company policy,” the affidavit alleged.

A female employee had reported to OSU police on Nov. 30, 2020, that Morales “showed her a picture of his penis, then later exposed his penis to her while they were in a conference room in the ABM office at the OSU Physical Plant,” on Nov. 25, 2020, the affidavit alleged.

“She was able to open the door and leave. She said she heard Mark zip his pants back up as she exited. (She) said she made copies of her timesheet, left them on Mark’s desk, clocked out and went home,” the affidavit alleged.

When Morales was interviewed three months later at the OSU Police Department, “Mark stated (she) called him that day around 5 am while he was off duty. Mark stated (she) asked him about a building that needed to be open. Mark told her it was okay to open the building. Mark stated (she) then started a conversation with him wanting to know if they could talk. Mark said ‘yes when I come into the office,"” at 8 am, the affidavit alleged.

“Mark said he went into the conference room with (her) to talk and they were in the conference room for about five minutes talking about her husband who had passed. Mark said he patted her on the back because she was sad and then they exited the room,” the affidavit alleged.

Morales denied showing a picture of his penis to the woman while they were in the conference room and exposing himself to her, according to the affidavit.

Morales was arrested on April 16 and released on $5,000 bail on the felony charge punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine on conviction, court records show.
