(Cushing, Okla.) Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a fatality collision at 9:14 (pm) Sunday, November 30, 2014. The accident that occurred on US412 eastbound, 2 tenths of a mile west of Willow Road (Tulsa County) claimed the life of Caitlynn B Briscoe (22) Stillwater.
Briscoe was driving a 2009 Chevy Oveo that was headed eastbound on US412 when the Chevy departed the roadway to the right for an unknown reason, striking the concrete barrier wall, rolling 1/2 time before coming to rest on the vehicles roof. Briscoe was pinned for approximately 1 ½ hours before being extricated by Sand Springs Fire (Jaws of Life).
She was pronounced dead at the scene from head and internal injuries.
The accident is still under investigation at this time.
Seat-belts were in use.
