(Stillwater, Okla.) — A Stillwater woman was charged Monday with transporting the controlled drugs, methamphetamine, oxycodone, oxycontin, marijuana, clonazepam and hydrocodone in her car on Friday with the intent to distribute them.

Chasity Diane Jackson, 40, was also charged Monday with driving under the influence of intoxicating substances, crossing the center line of the roadway on Prairie Road south of Lakeview, and possessing drug paraphernalia, all on Friday.

Jackson was arraigned Monday on the four-count charge and ordered to return to court with an attorney on Jan. 20.

If convicted of transporting a controlled drug with intent to distribute, Jackson could be sentenced to two years to life in prison and fined $20,000.

If convicted of driving under the influence of intoxicants, Jackson could be incarcerated for 10 days to one year and fined $1,000.

If convicted of failure to drive on the right side of the roadway, Jackson could be given a 10-day jail term and a $500 fine.

If convicted of possessing drug paraphernalia described as zip top baggies and a mirror, Jackson could be incarcerated for one year and fined $1,000.

The case against Jackson, who remains free on $10,000 bail, was investigated by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, court records show.
