(Stillwater, Okla.) — A 42-year-old Stillwater woman, who was charged this week with sexting a 13-year-old boy on Sept. 25, remains in the Payne County Jail on $20,000 bail pending an Oct. 24 court appearance with an attorney.
Tiffany Denise Whitley, who was described as a family acquaintance, was arrested at her residence at 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 11, according to an affidavit by Stillwater Police Detective Inspector Greg Miller.
The boy’s mother found messages from Whitley while reviewing her son’s activity on his cell phone, which was turned over to a Stillwater police officer earlier this month, the affidavit alleged.
“The conversation started on April 25th, 2018, and ended on Sept. 25th, 2018. I located images of a naked female sent by Tiffany Whitley. In the conversation, Tiffany acknowledges the image is self-portrait,” the detective inspector alleged in his affidavit.
“In the conversation, Tiffany tells (the boy) to look at pornography on his phone,” and fondle himself, the affidavit alleged.
On April 27, the boy informed Whitley that his mother took his phone, so he had to delete their past messages, the affidavit alleged.
On Oct. 7 at Whitley’s residence, “I showed Tiffany printed copies of the first few days of messages. Tiffany acknowledged she was a participant in the conversation,” with the boy that she knew was 13, the detective inspector alleged in his affidavit.
“Tiffany reviewed the first image of a nude female received by (the boy) and acknowledged she sent the image to him. Tiffany stated she downloaded the image from the internet; it was not an image of her. Tiffany claimed she sent no other images to (the boy),” the affidavit alleged.
When the boy was interviewed, he “stated he received an image of a vagina from Tiffany that he was led to believe was a self-portrait,” the affidavit alleged.
“He also received an image of Tiffany’s head and upper torso,” with her shirt and bra pulled up – exposing her breasts, the affidavit alleged.
The boy said that he deleted that image, but not the one of her genital area, the affidavit alleged. The boy “stated he sent an image of his penis to Tiffany,” the affidavit alleged.
After Whitley was arrested, “Tiffany reiterated she sent (the boy) one image of a vagina. When I asked about sending other images like headshots, Tiffany acknowledged she sent some headshot images. When I asked about an image of Tiffany in a bra, she acknowledged sending an image to (the boy) of her head and upper torso,” the detective inspector alleged in his affidavit.
In the image, her shirt was pulled up to expose her bra that covered her breasts, the affidavit alleged.
“Tiffany acknowledged she received an image she believed was (the boy’s) penis,” the affidavit alleged.
According to Payne County court records, Whitley had been charged a month ago with concealing stolen electronic equipment in Stillwater on Sept. 10, a felony charge on which she has been scheduled to appear in court with an attorney on Oct. 24.
