(Stillwater, Okla.) — A 28-year-old Stillwater woman has been charged with knowingly possessing on her computer and social media applications 20 visual depictions of explicit child pornography of minors engaged in sexual activity, and also personally committing a crime against nature with a canine.
Danielle Marie Carr has been jailed on $20,000 bail pending an April 4 court appearance at which she can seek a preliminary hearing on both felony counts punishable on conviction by a total of up to 30 years in prison.
Carr was arrested on March 10 by Stillwater Police Detective Stephanie Wheeler, who had been notified on Jan. 4 of a cyber tip that a social media website “reported that an individual had sent apparent child sexual abuse material,” an affidavit said.
After the detective obtained a search warrant for an account from which 18 files of child sexual abuse material had been sent, “While reviewing the photographs and pictures, I located two more child sexual abuse materials,” the detective alleged in her affidavit.
The detective also saw three photographs involving a dog, one allegedly depicting oral sodomy with Carr, and two others allegedly involving a child’s genital area, according to the affidavit.
