(Stillwater, Okla.) — A Stillwater woman who was accused of assaulting two neighbors a week before Christmas has been jailed on $20,000 bail pending a Feb. 2 court appearance.

Tracy Renee Sullivan, 49, was living at 807 S. Lowry at the time of her arrest by Stillwater Police Officer Kurt Merrill at 9:28 p.m. on Dec. 18, 2014, court records show.

The officer, along with Stillwater Police Officer Brett Moore, met with one of Sullivan’s neighbors who reported that she had grabbed a man by his legs and tried to pull him out of his wheelchair, an affidavit alleged.

“Some nearby residents were able to separate Tracy from (the man) and she began to stagger down the hall toward her room,” the affidavit alleged.

The man who reported the alleged incident said “he heard the noise and came to the area in his power chair,” the affidavit alleged.

He said “Tracy returned a few minutes later and brandished the black-handled paring knife,” looked at him while pointing the knife toward him and said, ‘I’m going to kill you!’” the affidavit alleged.

He said he stood his ground and “Tracy backed away. Tracy then returned to her room,” the affidavit alleged.

Another man living at 807 S. Lowry said he was helping a man back into his wheelchair when Sullivan confronted another man with the knife and said she was going to kill him, the affidavit alleged.

“I had Tracy step outside and I placed her under arrest,” Officer Merrill wrote in his affidavit, which was filed last week in court records.

If convicted of a felony count of threatening to cut one man with a paring knife on Dec. 18, Sullivan could be sentenced to as much as 10 years in prison.

If convicted of a misdemeanor count of pulling another man by his legs from his wheelchair on the same day, Sullivan could be jailed for as much as 90 days and fined $1,000, court records show.
