(Stillwater, Okla.) — The Saturday night stabbing of a 32-year-old man at a cookout in the 1700 block of N. Jardot in Stillwater remains under investigation, police said.
The victim, whose name was not released, did not seek medical treatment until Sunday morning, a Stillwater Police Department news release said.
“Sometime during the night, the victim and another male, who was attending the cookout, got into an altercation,” during which the victim was stabbed twice in the back, the news release said.
Stillwater police began investigating the incident after they were sent to the Stillwater Medical Center at 9:15 a.m. Sunday on an unruly patient complaint, the news release said.
The victim was later transferred to the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, the news release said.
