(Stillwater, Okla.) — A Stillwater man was arraigned Tuesday on charges of breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s house while she was inside on two occasions on May 1 — less than a month after he admitted in court that he had knocked her to the ground and kicked her repeatedly a year ago.

Original G. Allah, 44, remains jailed on $30,000 bail pending a June 1 court appearance on two counts of first-degree burglary, which carry as much as a 40-year prison term on conviction.

Two months ago, his ex-girlfriend obtained an emergency protective order against him — but three days later she told a judge she no longer wanted a protective order against him so it was dismissed, court records show.

In her EPO petition, his ex-girlfriend said they had an on and off relationship since January of 2012 during which “there has been abuse.”

“In the case happening in March 2014 in which a court case is in progress, I had to undergo surgery for a broken jaw and have my mouth wired shut for six weeks. We continued our dating relationship after Mr. Allah came back from Florida.”

She said that Allah had sent her text messages calling her offensive names, according to her EPO petition.

“I fear without this protective order that he will continue to harass me, text me, send people to my house, or even have family members call me,” she wrote in her petition for an EPO that she asked the judge to dismiss in March of this year.

Less than a month before he was charged with twice breaking into her house, Allah pleaded guilty to grabbing her hair, knocking her to the ground, and kicking her repeatedly on March 18, 2014, in Stillwater, court records show.

In that case filed as misdemeanor domestic assault and battery, Special District Judge Robert Hert gave Allah a one-year sentence last month – with all time suspended except 60 days in jail that he was scheduled to begin serving on June 5 of this year.

Allah was ordered to complete 44 weeks of batterers’ intervention and anger management along with paying $338 restitution, the cost of his incarceration, a $250 fine and a $250 contribution to the victims’ compensation fund, court records show.

In that case, Stillwater Police Officer John Paul Johnson was sent to the emergency room of the Stillwater Medical Center on March 18, 2014, where the woman “told me that her boyfriend Original Allah assaulted her last night,” according to his affidavit.

“She said last night (March 17, 2014) they had been to a birthday party where they had been drinking,” the affidavit said.

She said that she took some friends to a convenience store and when she got back, Allah was gone, the affidavit said.

She said that she left the party and went home where she found Allah, who “then began to beat her, knocking her to the ground and kicking her while wearing hiking-type boots,” for about 20 minutes, although a male relative was present and did not intervene, the affidavit said.

She said “she was finally able to get away from Allah and go to a neighbor’s apartment, but she did not call the police at that time,” the affidavit said.

She said she decided to wait a while and they go back to get some clothes to stay with friends, the affidavit said.

“However, when she went to get her clothes, Allah attacked her again by grabbing her hair, throwing her to the ground and kicking her repeatedly,” while the same male relative was present, but did not try to intervene, the affidavit said.

She said “she attempted to defend herself by scratching Allah in the face and biting him on the leg and arm,” the affidavit said.

She said “her grandmother arrived home after this and ordered Allah to leave the residence,” the affidavit said.

She said that when she went to a friend’s house, “Allah showed up there and attempted to get her to come back out because he was not finished with her,” but that friend went outside with others so Allah left, the affidavit said.

A neighbor of that friend drove her to the emergency room, the affidavit said.

“He told me he heard the commotion outside his apartment last night and stepped out just after Allah had left,” the officer wrote in his affidavit.

“He said when he first saw (the victim), he saw that the whole left side of her face was swollen and that she was walking with a limp, favoring her left ankle, but he did not see any of the actual assault,” the officer wrote in his affidavit.

The victim told the officer “she had injuries to the back of her neck, her jaw and left ankle and foot, which also had preexisting injuries,” the affidavit said.

In the emergency room, the examining physician expressed concern that the victim might have a fractured jaw, but needed to have additional x-rays taken and consult with a radiologist, the affidavit said.

The officer said that the victim “had difficulty opening her mouth wide enough to speak normally and she winced in pain when she tried to open her mouth wider,” the affidavit said.

At the time, the officer was unable to locate Allah or her male relative to obtain a witness statement, the affidavit said.***
