(Stillwater, Okla.) Charges of sexually abusing an 8-year-old female relative in 2003 were dropped last week by the prosecution against a 66-year-old Stillwater man when he pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography described as a digital image of a 9-year-old female relative in 2011 — for which he was placed on 15 years’ probation on March 19, court records show.
Darrel Kent Domnick, who was originally scheduled to stand trial this week on 2011 sexual abuse charges related to the 8-year-old girl in 2003, was ordered by District Judge Phillip Corley last week to obtain a psycho-sexual evaluation, follow any recommendations, register as a sex offender and have no contact with his victim as a condition of probation, court records show.
Domnick, who pleaded guilty last week to a single count of child pornography possession regarding the 9-year-old girl in 2011, was also given a $1,000 fine and a $500 assessment to the victims’ compensation fund, court records show.
The case was investigated by Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Agent Michael Dean, court records show.
