(Stillwater, Okla.) — An ex-convict, who was released from prison four years ago, has been jailed on $50,000 bail pending an Aug. 12 court appearance on separate charges of possessing the drug methamphetamine with intent to distribute in Stillwater on Feb. 28 and May 16.

Due to his criminal record, Mark Thomas Dunham, 33, who had been living in a Stillwater motel, could be given as much as two life prison terms and $200,000 in fines if convicted of both felony charges.

Dunham got out of prison in March of 2015 after serving about four years of six concurrent sentences, according to the state Department of Corrections and Payne County court records.

Dunham had been convicted in Payne County of:

* eluding police in 2004 for which he was originally given five years of probation that was revoked on April 22, 2011;

* unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in 2004 for which he was originally given five years of probation that was revoked on April 22, 2011;

* attempting to elude police in 2006 for which he was originally given five years of probation that was revoked on April 22, 2011;

* child abuse in 2009 for which he was originally given five years of probation that was revoked on April 22, 2011;

* second-degree burglary in 2010 for which he was given six years in prison on April 22, 2011;

* committing a pattern of criminal offenses and concealing stolen property in 2011 for which he was ordered to pay $8,674 in restitution and serve six years in prison on April 22, 2011.
