(Cushing, Okla.) According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports, Monday afternoon at 3:03 p.m. an accident occurred at State Highway 33 and Oak Grove Road (5 miles east of Cushing) in Payne County.
Cynthia Webb (51) Drumright, Oklahoma was driving a 2010 Buick Enclave and was southbound in the center crossover. The other vehicle, a 1998 Jeep Laredo was driven by Steven Thornhill (39) Drumright, Oklahoma. After failiing to yield to Thornhill’s eastbound vehicle, Webb’s vehicle was struck on the right side. Webb was airlifted by Eagle-Med to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa where she died Tuesday morning from head injuries.
Thornhill was reported to be uninjured.
Both vehicles had seat-belts in use and airbags deployed in both.
