(Cushing, Okla) According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports there was a two vehicle accident this morning at 5:30 am. The location of the accident was State Highway 33 and Norfolk Road.
The OHP reports stated the 2014 Honda Ridgeline driven by Jacob Biggers (25) of Cushing (Okla) was north bound on Norfolk Road while the 2010 Toyota pickup driven by Billy Griffin (29) of Stillwater (Okla) was east bound on State Highway 33. Reportedly Biggers vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by Griffin broadside.
Biggers was reported to be dead at the scene. Biggers body was taken to Davis Funeral Home (Cushing). His passenger Joshua Biggers (23) of Cushing (Okla) was transported by ambulance to Hillcrest Hospital Cushing then transferred to St. Francis Hospital (Tulsa) in stable condition. Griffin was transported by private vehicle to Hillcrest Hospital Cushing where he was treated and released.
Seat belts were in use.
