(Stillwater, Okla.) — Slot machines seized from a Cushing bar will be destroyed on court order by the Sheriff’s Department at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the county commissioners’ barn at the Payne County Fairgrounds, District Attorney Tom Lee said.

    According to court documents, six slot machines were confiscated on Feb. 26 from the Cin City Bar as illegal gambling devices following an undercover investigation by the Payne County Sheriff’s Department.

    Cynthia Renee Patterson, 51, of Jennings, described in court docments as the manager/owner of the bar at 711 N. Steele in Cushing, agreed to forfeit any right to the confiscated slot machines, as part of a plea bargain, court records show.

    Patterson was given a two-year deferred sentence and a $500 fine on May 16, court records show.
