(Cushing, Okla.) — Session three of the Payne County Leadership Connections class got underway Wednesday with students and instructor Suzette Barta meeting up for lunch at the Vassar Community Center (Perkins). The group then broke up into smaller groups meeting with different personnel in the Perkins Leadership Roundtable (An informative visit session with questions and answers regarding Perkins Leadership while sitting around the Roundtable).

The Leadership class then went on to tour some of the buildings in Oklahoma Territorial Plaza which include: The Frank Eaton home, IXL Schoolhouse, Old Church Center, Veteran’s Memorial , Cimarron Valley Railroad Museum, Canadian Pacific “Metapedia” and Centennial Plaza.

Finishing out session three of the Payne County Leadership Connections class a tour of Mike Larsen’s Art Studio (Mike has been a full time artist for more than forty years) which featured several Native American works of art.
