(Cushing, Okla.) Sam Harris, son of Bill and Carolyn (Minnix) Harris formerly of Cushing, will perform at Vantrease Pace in Tulsa, 8 p.m. on Feb. 1, 2014.
Harris, from Sand Springs, Okla., received nationwide attention in the 80s after winning Star Search in its premier season. Since then he has gone on to become a multi-platinum recording artist with 9 studio cds to his credit.
*Harris has toured extensively in concert and has played to sold-out audiences at major venues including New York’s Carnegie Hal, Los Angeles’ Universal Amphitheatre, London’s West End and with The Boston Pops. He also participated in Cyndi Lauper’s TRUE COLORS tour. His favorite talk show guest spot was when he performed a stirring “You’ll Never Walk Alone” on THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW in the week following September 11th.
