(Cushing, Okla.) Round-up for Jesus Rodeo Revival will make its Cushing debut this Saturday at the Cushing Rodeo Arena located on N. Linwood.
“I’m happy to be able to bring this to my hometown,” George “Marty” Brock told KUSH listeners on the Morning MoJo show Wednesday.
The FREE two-night rodeo, Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st, will consist of events such as Ranch Bronc Riding, Open Calf Roping, Break-away Roping, Select Calf Roping, Open Barrels, Jr. Barrels, Pee Wee Barrels, Team Roping and Bull Riding. And for those under 12, the ever-popular Mutton Bustin and Calf Scramble. Books open at 5:30 p.m. nightly and close at 7 p.m. sharp nightly. Contestants will compete for All Around Saddle & Event Championship Buckles (must compete Saturday and Sunday to be eligible. Visit www.looserowelrodeo.com for rules.
A free dinner will be hosted from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Saturday with performances starting at 7:30 p.m. Mutton bustin will be held each night at 7 p.m.
