Ronald Dean Fisher of Muldrow, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, at the age of 75 years.

    The son of the late Benjamin Franklin Fisher and Emma Cook Fisher, Ron was born on October 24, 1938 in Cushing, Oklahoma and was raised and educated in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School in 1959. In September of 1970, he received his refrigeration and air conditioning certification from Oklahoma State Tech, Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

    He owned and operated the Fisher Heating and Air Company in Fort Smith for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 2007.

    He was a member of the Muldrow First Assembly of God Church.

    Surviving include his children, Sabrina Kelley and her husband Vince of Van Buren, Arkansas, Jeff Fisher and his wife Annita of Mansfield, Arkansas and Jennifer Oakes of Mountainburg, Arkansas; one brother Clint Fisher and his wife Marilyn of Cushing; his grandchildren, Jonathan Cox and wife Hannah, Lindsey Reynolds, Emily Kelley and Derek Kelley, Bridget Fisher, Samuel Fisher, Ben Fisher, Sarah Fisher, Connor Oakes and Taylor Oakes; two great-grandchildren, Gracie and Jacob; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bennie Fisher of Cushing and Lee Fisher of Collinsville, and one sister Virginia Christian of Cushing.

    Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fairlawn Cemetery with Pastor Shawn Money officiating.
