Ronald Dale “Ronnie” Alexander was born on July 26th 1946 at his home in Jennings, Oklahoma. He was born the youngest of four children to Jack and Goldie Alexander. Ronnie passed from this life on March 24, 2012 in Oilton, Ok.
Ronnie attended grade school in Jennings and high school in Oilton, Ok. In 1964 Ronnie was united in marriage to Joyce Patricia Moore of Ralston, Oklahoma. The couple purchased a home in Jennings. And out of the union were born their two children, Angela Dawn and Ronald Darrell.
Although Ronnie and Joyce continued to reside in Jennings, Ronnie went to work as a welder for a pipeline company and the family traveled for many years throughout the U.S. mostly in the western states, which they all enjoyed very much. The family took vacations during their travels and one of Ronnie’s favorite places to visit was Old Mexico. Ronnie had a deep fascination and appreciation for the Mexican culture as well as the architecture of the country, this was very evident when Ronnie designed and built his most recent residence in Jennings. Walking into his house made you feel like you were walking into Old Mexico the moment you stepped in the door. He was very proud of this accomplishment and his “casa” truly was his castle. From the unique handcrafted woodwork and tiles to all of his creative hard work on display for everyone to see.
Some of Ronnie’s hobbies included, racing stock cars in the 60’s, riding his  custom “Easy Rider” chopper back in the 70’s, restoring his many unique cars and trucks over the years, as well as playing the drums with the band “The Pipeliners” in their day. He also enjoyed growing his flowers, tomatoes and peppers, caring for his beloved pets, and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grand children, all of whom he was very proud of… And let’s not forget he loved Nascar!
Ronnie was a very proud, loving, devoted, generous and caring man with a wonderful sense of humor. He gave of himself freely and he was more than just unique, he prided himself on the fact that he was truly “one of a kind!” He will be sincerely missed by all those that knew and loved him, no doubt.
Survivors include his children Angela “Angie” Alexander-Stroup and her husband Bryan of Mannford, Oklahoma. Ronald Darrell “Ron” Alexander and his wife Amber of Oilton, Oklahoma. One brother Jackie Alexander and one sister Shirley Sneed both of Jennings, Oklahoma. Five grandchildren; Karie Robertson of Jennings, Amber Carpenter and her husband Larry of Broken Arrow, Bryttney Alexander of Cleveland, Bianca Cheary of Drumright and Kelby Alexander also of Drumright, Oklahoma. Four great grandchildren; Daylon “D Dog” Robertson, Aaliyah “Sissy” Robertson, Angila Marie “Charlie” Robertson of Jennings and Colton Blaine Carpenter of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  Nephew Chuck Alexander and his wife Cora of Jennings, and several other nieces and nephews.
