Robert Lee (Bob) Seitsinger, a longtime Parkland resident, went home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2009. He was 79. Bob was born June 26, 1929 in Cushing, Oklahoma, to the late Walter Seitsinger and Lena (Stevens) Seitsinger Slemp. Bob was a farmer in the Parkland area until he reired. Bob loved hunting and fishing but enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren more than anything.
Bob is survived by his wife June of the Home, one son, Robert Charles (Short) Seitsinger and wife Kathy of Agra; one daughter, Carol Lee Wooden and Husband George of Chandler; two brothers, Walter Seitsinger and wife Janet of Chandler, Earl Seitsinger of Edmond; one step brother, Jim Slemp and wife Charlotte of Bristow, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Agra Church of the Firstborn with Brothers Lynn Brown and Theldon Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in the Parkland Cemetery at Parkland. His funeral services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Cushing, Oklahoma.
